Mirror, Mirror What Mistress Is Distracting Him
your calculated mirror of my soul
shatter my illusions of us
in my dappled shadows, I cry
bleeding my pain
you watch on in a detached kind of way
I could tell by the look in your eyes you were disconnected
you didn't feel any of it
and I wondered when it happened
you stopped feeling me
I feel so ineffectual
late-night caresses turned into something cold
a thousand mistresses to sway
my touch no longer moved you
you long for something exotic
and I was no longer new
but I knew I could blow your mind if...

pinpricked momentum
a fleeting dandelion seed travels
in frequencies folding unfolding
tenderest tendrils
the carousel trembles
cobwebs dewed
musk healed these calf bones
spear cutting silence
re embers healing salvia
I lay in the wolf trap
amidst winter

When people don’t talk
The space between words widens
What’s left unsaid takes on new meaning
All the things I thought you meant
Now mean…something
And I’m left to fill in the blanks myself
Because you choose not to say anything
Maybe you think you’re protecting me
Or you’re ashamed
Or you’re angry
Or you don’t want me to have feelings for you
You might have misunderstood something I’ve said

From the deepness within
From the deepness from within the very foundation of my own mind eyes, as I continue to stand and tolerate the deepness of my thoughts, as they are just mere mirror reflections of my thoughts from the darkness. For it is here I am more than just a mortal man, as I've walked through the shadows of death. THAT seems to be as a imagination, from a long lost dragon wondering through the forest trees. 🐉 But yet it is here and now I finally truly understood, what does it mean to keep your eyes on the sparrow, as the hawk flies through the evening skyline.

LAUGHING AT MYSELF
ME!
Every day I pause
to visit my comedy club
where I laugh at myself
out of honest reflection.
There are a lot of things
I laugh at, mostly the
dumb things I say and
the things I forget to say.
My favorite laugh comes
when I forget where
I left my keys or not
realizing I didn't set my alarm.
Then there's telling
the same person the same
story over and over not
seeing their boredom.
I don't think I'll share
the sexual laughs I
have at myself, it'll
be a tell-all...

Like my words, I wonder if anyone truly sees me
Or is it simply my fate to be ...
Invisible to everyone, as if erased
They have tears in their eyes, they can't explain
That I'm not with them, but I continue to live
I don't know what will be there later, in the other world
Someone went to heaven, and someone went to hell,
and I was left behind
Many more have passed and I am still not in the clouds
What happened, I do not know why I am lost
I do not want to look at their tears
I want to be a guardian angel for them ...
