I Found Out Too Late that She Loved Me
I loved Hannah more than I could say,
But I didn’t tell her that I loved her.
I wanted her to see it for herself.
So I came up with an idea that I thought would work.
She read the love poems that I wrote.
The poetic words revealed my true feelings.
She knew that I wrote them for her,
And she realised the depth of my love for her.
I didn’t know that she was in love with me.
She never showed her feelings for me.
Perhaps she tried to attract my attention,
But I was too dumb to realise it.
She wasn’t bold...

On and on and on...
He was pussy whipped
All of his friends & father knew it and gave him a hard time
He couldn't go anywhere without her inviting herself along
They fought and fucked all the time
He loved her and hated her
He wanted to bash her skull in
She made him feel weak
She made him feel like he wasn't in control of his life
He started to hate her all the time
One night he hit her
Mutual disbelief registered on both their faces
He started hitting her all the time
The more he hit her, the more he loved her
He was in love again

It Still Isn't You
Your disease brought me closer to a decision
i know now who my true love is
It still isn't you!
While your laying there, let me introduce you to my true love
Here she is
Look at her
Young, spry and gorgeous
You use to be special many many years ago
Now your laying here, given a few weeks to live
You did nothing all your life to help yourself
You should have given me my divorce when you still had the energy, years ago
You can't even lift your head up
See you at your funeral
i know now who my true love is
It still isn't you!
While your laying there, let me introduce you to my true love

A Poem for My Ex-wife
Ping Ling, what made you love me the way you did?
You didn’t hesitate to say yes the evening I proposed to you.
And you quickly put the engagement ring on your finger.
You knew that I loved you as must as you loved me.
We vowed to stay with each other until death separated us.
Never did we think our marriage would end in divorce.
Though many years have passed, I won’t stop missing you.
I’ll still love you, no matter how long we stay apart.
Every time I look at our wedding picture, my heart aches for you.
When we became one flesh,...

Like an Echo
"She should be like a town clock — keep time and observe regularity. She should not, however, like a town clock, speak so loudly that all the town may hear her.
She should be like a snail — prudent, and keep within her own house.
She should not be like a snail — carry all she has upon her back.
She should be like an echo — speak when spoken to.
But she should not be like an echo — determined always to have the last word." - "Three Wifely Virtues", The Australian Woman's Mirror, 24/02/1925

The Poison Bride
When the famous poetess passed out in her mashed potatoes on Christmas Eve, 1978, her husband rolled his eyes and her two children carried on glumly chewing. It was a semi-regular performance, the passing out act. George wondered how he'd ended up marrying the silly bitch.
Once on a literary tour, they'd been besieged by girls who seemed to regard him with envy for having such unfettered access to their mentally unstable idol. He'd happily switch places with any of them, or the middle-aged sad-sack men who worried at her ankles at luncheons. Two years ago, she'd had a brief...

Don't Worry. We Really Do Have An Open Marriage.
Kendra woke up at
Two AM with a pain
in her head and found
herself to be naked
before some chick
said "You must be
my husband's date."

I heard she's happier now
A husband & wife living in Philadelphia had been married for over 25 years. He faithfully visited his wife in the hospital everyday, where she laid in a coma for several months in 1999 with little hope for recovery. Distraught over the loss of his longtime companion, the husband committed suicide in their home. Hours later, his wife woke up!

Beer & Murder
During the 2000's a severe winter storm kept temperatures in the 20's and thousands of homes in Southern Texas, without power for several days. It was perhaps a combination of cabin fever and alcohol that led one woman to shoot her 71 year old husband to death in the kitchen of their home. He gave her a can of warm beer. It had occurred to neither one of them to chill a six-pack on the back porch!

I deserved ‘em
my wife is the best person I’ve ever known,
but she’s got her faults
are as slight as a thoughtless word here or there
are a few that hit home
