Best Orgasms They Could Ever Have Without The Passion
They have their rituals like any other married couple
At night, he goes downstairs before bed and jerks off to the hottest porn on the internet
He can have any women he wants
She goes under the covers with her dildo and vibrator and fucks & pulsates herself to an amazing orgasm
They finish around the same time,
even though they're in different rooms
They have been married for so long that they have the perfect sex every time
After the lights go out, they sleep like real human beings.

Focus
regaining focus my mind settles
this was a difficult test to go through
I've come to realize I am loved unconditionally
our relationship difficult at times took a tale spin
realizing I too get distracted by the world
it is the laws of attraction
confessing to him I'd been spending emotional time with another
uttering he showed true interest in me and I liked it
with the knowledge I have loved my husband but haven't always liked him
dreaming of different shores where everything is perfect
is an illusion that has...

Anamnesis
And they lived happily ever after
An expanse of laughter lines
Warmly consoled their souls
Until the twilight of old age
Rested itself in their home
Bones no longer clattered
Night came, stars shown
And dawn found them
Huddled together
In everlasting
Peace
Birds sang in grief
At the sunrise
As our spirits drifted
Toward the skies
Wide eyed as one
Together, we’re never alone
In our lover’s arms and
In each other’s hearts
We are never lost
Or forgotten
We are...

Surrounded by Love
Many years together
In the middle of the night
Between hot flashes
Trips to the bathroom
Dog snoring and shaking
A quiet snuggle with her
Last night as many nights
I called her my flower
Last night she said
"I love being your flower"
Then somehow we both fell out
Sleep is a luxury
As is our love
In the middle of the night
Between hot flashes
Trips to the bathroom
Dog snoring and shaking
A quiet snuggle with her
Last night as many nights
I called her my flower
Last night she said
"I love being your flower"
Then somehow we both fell out
Sleep is a luxury

To The End of The Road
A journey may be seen
as an adventure of a lifetime.
The good times, always welcome.
The bad times, test the strength of the commitment.
If one heart forges onward
and another remains immobile-
where does the path converge
or split?
My thoughts implode from self-chatter.
My heart bleeds from self-doubt.
As a duo, was this only to be a partial trek?
Perhaps this is an unexpected very long dark tunnel
from which we’ll emerge into the light.
Or just maybe, the sky is to remain...
as an adventure of a lifetime.
The good times, always welcome.
The bad times, test the strength of the commitment.
If one heart forges onward
and another remains immobile-
where does the path converge

My heart bleeds from self-doubt.
As a duo, was this only to be a partial trek?
Perhaps this is an unexpected very long dark tunnel

In His Heart
his walks in the park
is a quiet slow pace
listening to a singing lark
in another time and place
he loves her still
in his quiet way
she doesn't listen anymore
her fire for him gone
she asked to be free once
and he had hurt so bad
sadly he let her go
but she never left
she stayed but left their room
she became distant a stranger
he didn't mind anymore
she was just someone in another room
he loves her for their children
who had grown and went away
in the world...

Footsteps
( For David in memory of Lisa )
“Dying is a wild night and a new road.”
—Emily Dickinson
You are not alone
gestating in that cocoon—
fat from summer leaves of grief
I have not forgotten
her footsteps either—
mortar to a family of bricks
solidly weathered into their own
structure of wedded life
Our 41 year-old friendship
in an ultra-conservative city
excommunicating free thinkers...

Domestic Blisses
Each of your eyes is like a bright comet
and your teeth, I notice, never turn green.
Nor do your kisses taste like Vaseline
and, I swear, I've never seen you vomit.
You have respect for what's under the sink
and most of your text remains lowercase.
But you've more than habits I wish to embrace
which stirs my passions so near to the brink!
The brink of what? Perhaps I'm fanatic
but your beauty promotes rapid heartbeats...
like the sort you find in coked up athletes
or any truly dedicated lu-NAT-ic!
I hope these...

Betrothed
Betrothed, bombarded.
Abode, a conflict.
If so, incarnate.
Connoted, carnage.
To sew, this garden.
Atrophic, heartland.
In foes, our farmland.
Too cold, for cropping.
Condoning, comets.
It's stolen, stardom.
Denoted, bottom.
Below, imparted.
Control the con men?
Their soul's but wanton.
Hypnosis, hardened.
Remote, unguarded.
Commotion, causes.
Implosion, gothic.
Behold, embalming.
Disclosure, Godless.
Encroaching, offset. ...

Gifts
I hear it in your stories
and in rare moments, I've witnessed it:
your gift --
and I marvel at the empathy
with which you guide families
through their worst moments
Never impatient, judgement at bay
Always respectful, giving space
as they cope
and grieve
and make decisions,
wrapped in the stability of your care,
feeling heard and supported.
I wish you could bring the gift home,
but I know it's finite,
and I know it takes its toll.
In weak moments, I'm envious
that they aren't expected...
