Love and War
How are we so far apart in this bed?
Sleeping with venom in our hearts
Tension fills the room when we’re together
It’s love and war between us
Since when did we become enemies?
Fighting on opposite sides
Two atomic bombs ready to explode
The battle line was drawn when the arguments lingered long after malicious words were spewed
Like a gunshot what’s said can’t be taken back
The wound stays hidden under layers of resentment
Building like mold until it festers over the foundation we’ve made
What remains is similar to a war torn...

Reality is a curse
Will you catch me this time if I fall?
your support has become a hindrance
the last several times, I hit bottom real hard
I'm trying desperately to release the demons
it isn't easy when your neglected without assistance
you've said you loved me and you know that I love you
is it a lie?
i need you now, more then ever before
please, be by my side
we said years back through thick & thin
bonded together we'll always win
the dream is crumbling
reality is a curse
your support has become a hindrance

Perfect gift for a special one
Not at random for just ANY ONE
An indestructible expression
of eternal ascension
Fitting for loved ones, lovers or between friends
Band of eternal circle with neither flaw nor end.
Round and round – no corners to turn
Infinite lessons, yet, still left to learn
As all within the circle closer become
Venturing hidden corners still to come
Hearts all beat and join as one.
Perfect expression of an infinite love
Between loved ones or friends joined above
Perfect emblem of an unbreakable pact...

A Romantic Tale
Decades ago a man was in love with a woman
he would do crazy acts to seek her attention
he was a daredevil
he's faced death numerous times
he's played chicken with trains,
jumped off bridges and survived the plunge,
climbed skyscrapers,
and even imitated some of Houdini's work
nevertheless he was crazy, but good at what he did
one day he told his girlfriend that he was going to go over Niagara Falls in a barrel
she told him you're insane
if you do this you could die and we'll never have a life together
his mind was made up and told...

Death will never tear us apart
They were together a long time
He was retired
She was a homemaker all her life
Most of their family has moved away or died
Two hermits that knew nothing more then each other
They loved tv and game shows
They never left the house
They received their food and clothing through the internet
Occasionally a technician or handyman would come over to fix some household issue
They were happy
They knew no other way
One day the husband fell ill
She knew if she took him to the hospital, he'd die
At one point, he wanted to go, but she...

but this time it was for space - for a chance to breathe again
