Togetherness
I see your face in the mist
of our dreams, as I reach for you
we transcend into smoke wafting
into our private heaven
In the cold blackness of space
we feel ourselves together, making
love that supersedes reality, transforming
scars into stars as we supernova
Bathing in pools of pleasure
an ecstasy born from the blood
of fantasy, as we collide little drops of
reality fall upon our lips
The arousal of anticipation breathes
deeply the sky and the time of dreams
comes to its climax, the smoke clears ...

winter
fall leaves falling
quietness in the air

A Marriage
I had seen its pulsating glow
From down here, on the earth below
Its light had disturbed my sleep
Beneath it's slow stagnant creep
In desperation, and despair
I gained no sleep, under the moon all aglare
So i grabbed my bow, and held it true
As i shot my golden arrow to the moon
It sat like a lantern shadowed raven
Amongst the night skies there engraven
My arrow meanwhile, continued its mission
For i captured the moon, in my vision
The moon got angry, it turned a blood red
As it stood there scowling, above my...

Hoodoo In Sitar Eyes
Love is the laughter and smiles
putting hoodoo in her sitar eyes
conjuring the magic of butterflies
colored in Autumn's blue skies
applied to a Parakeet's beguile
opening wide archives of Bondye
of the twilight's afterwhile

malevolent
slipping in to the other world
I take a look around
peering into the souls of the restless
with intentions of reading their intent
malevolence or benevolent
I give the mischief makers free passage back the way they came
purifying my thoughts, I open my mind
inviting well intended spirits to approach
listening intently, I judge
sometimes not by word but feeling
they are all very polite
with exception, they know me
some come curses ready
slip the vexation, I will not submit
sublime feeling on the ether ...

bittrersweet melody
bittersweet melody, sings inside me
lilting quietly, I sway with it
my sacred art, I feel too much
sanity in a lie, others appreciate this
intensity in a smile
painfully kept in
gentle hurt, when my deep need, is met with rejection
misfit of fate, when I come upon one like me
beautiful day, I have met such a kismet soul
only problem is, we ignite
touching darkness, disturbs my thougjts
tender feeling, being understood
I see her sometimes
coming together without carnage
the two of us together...

On slicing a Kiwi Fruit
Like cracking a pebble and finding a fossil —
that no eyes have ever seen
there you were, unexpected —
a little green face gazing,
from the kitchen worktop.
My heart sighed,
seeing your pip eyes, beady, staring
knowing nothing of shape or colour;
Breakfast waited, while I stood
blinking at this sudden kiwi-creature,
tiny flat Martian,
helpless as a planet
without a mothering star;
I cradled you in my palm.
Silent
without whimper or wail,
did you exist before the cut? Would you exist ...

Broken-record
I.
I wish I was a Witch
imbued through grace
beget by the knowledge of Truth
to combat ignorance
I'd proudly proclaim the title
bowing to Mother Nature
for gifting me the moniker
of so brave the women
—maiden, mother, and crone—
who suffered under religiosity
from pointy fingers
and judgmental tongues
condemning them to death

The Truth Fairy
Under the pillow, a tooth was placed.
A child waiting, all snug in haste.
But a different fairy, with wings so bright,
slipped into the room in the middle of the night.
Not the Tooth Fairy with glitter and cheer
but the Truth Fairy, solemn and near.
With a sigh, she whispered, “It’s time to reveal
the secrets and truths that life may conceal.”
In dreams the child was gently led
to scenes of truth, both hoped and dread.
A mirror showed friends who might betray
and promises broken along the way.
