a boy on shore leave
A boy and shore leave
The 15 years old boy was standing on the poop deck on an old
tank ship late at night looking up to the millions of stars over The Red Sea.
His job was to clean pots and pans in the galley ruled over by a cook
who hated the worlds and everybody in it.
The boy had tried to sit in the mess hall where older seamen
sat, drinking coffee and playing cards, but they had made fun of him
saying he looked like a girl the way he folded his arms.
His left nibble was swollen when he pressed on the nipple white
stuff came out and he...

I remember thinking how
I wanted to be different.
I didn't want to teach moral code;
i didn't know if i had any,
per se, as an underlying current,
although, it could be
effective in that manner,
if the science is proven,
or, if the critical thinking
would occur, on the whole.
You can get anything down
at Moe's: candied cigarettes,
cinnamon square-heads,
a pint of whiskey at 4 in the morning.
Yea, its on that side of town.
We're all lonely here. ...

Half and Half .
It is never ok to hurt another just coz your tired and life’s being unkind . It doesn’t give you permission to spread your vibes on to unsuspecting people who just like you are treading the boards of life coz sometimes they can’t see the stairs either to bring them into the light . They just keep quiet and keep walking and waiting in the dark . Hoping and praying that the sun will break through and they are fine with a few remaining shadows. Life it never promised sunshine without the rain and accepting it’s a half and half chance this happiness lark .

Pisces
Amongst the cluster of Zodiac's embrace,
Lies Pisces, born of twelfth's grace.
An Aquamarine on Idealism's shore,
Where newest dreams are seen first and more.
With eyes fixed on the stars above,
She sets her sights, soaring high, with love.
Determined and steadfast, she strides along,
Through the ebb and flow, singing a mutable song.
Fishes dance, their silvery scales aglow,
Surrounding her island, where the waters flow.
Nature, in all its splendour, pays homage true,
Not as a God, but as their creator, they do.

the noddy land
The noddy land
Reality is more than we see in an everyday happening
It stretches further into another dimension we call dreams
but are vital in living life.
What my ghostwriter tries to say is: dreams come true.
I was back in my valley where I used to live and was
greeted by old friends who only appear in dreams
asked me where I had been; if I told they would think
I was dreaming and looked alarmed; has he gone ga, ga.
Footwear is a must in the valley, which is free of cars
I had been the shoemaker making shoes for the ball ...

In 1957 my ship docked in the town of Cork (Ireland)
If you think that is a long time ago, you are probably right
but in my head, it was yesterday.
Life was slower back then, cargo was lowered into
donkey carts, there were many mules waiting
we went to a pub, a stone a throwaway and drank Guinness
Never did I tell my mother, but I told her of the Irish girl
