shadow
tangled vines
wrap themselves
around
my sleep,
delicate
breathing
coming from
my chest,
my dreams
blinking
within each
direction
and
my hands
tied,
whether this
is natural
or unnatural
occurrence,
each thought
works its
way to
the surface,
awakening
i realized
i felt
this way
every time
i thought
of you
walking away.
