The Lioness, And Me
I cant comprehend how it happened, but i somehow was in my room,, in the company of a fully grown lioness, and one of her enormous paws, lay across my chest! but such is the way of dreams.
I was pinned down, and i knew i was at her mercy, fully aware of her power, and also that my life was in the laps of the gods/godesses.
I could hear her heartbeat, it sounded calm,and steady, and i didn't want to do anything that may change this. i wanted to scream for help, but was terrified that this may stir her into action. Her breathing sounded relaxed, and i hoped these sounds were signs...

Lions Upon The Sea
Lions Upon The Sea
I dreamed a dream of silver Sealions
Glistening under a charcoal downbeat sky (jq)
The seas surged, in a headstrong wind
As the Sealions began to fly (jdb)
Higher, and higher, til they became as one
With the clouds in the sky (jq)
Then one let out, an enormous bellow
"How come my clouds, are never yellow?" (jdb)
"I don't know!" said one
"But beware of yellow snow!" (jq)
"Don't you realise, and don't you know?"
"That it is us, that makes this yellow snow!"
They decided to leave the 'charcoal downbeat sky'...

Gold Winged Lions
Amber claws of their paws
Brush the hairstream of air
Each golden superior print
Barreling towards the Spaniard sun
Untangling spilling
Rivers of saffron ribbon
Braiding as they crisscross
In dance of enlightenment
Swooping around each other
Creating a woven splendor
Origami stair escalator
Vined with edible goldenrod
I am waiting below
Styled in a yellow sundress
Ready to bask in vitamin D
My bare feet step onto
The estival golden trail

the tasmanian tiger
The Tasmanian tiger
The last one died in captivity in 1936
and that was a sad moment for humanity,
added to the list of animals we have eliminated over the years.
The Tasmanian tiger was easy to kill. It didn´t know
how cruel we are.
There have been sightings of it by gullible people, but it is an illusion
based on regrets and unspoken longings.
I, also hope, it exists somewhere, but it is a dream,
yet I have seen the animal in clouds formation in the sky
forever condemning us for what we did.

Nature and love
When a male meets a female and sweet music appears
In the animal world, a jaguar couple stays together for days
but as the mother feels to the sense of motherhood the male leaves
his job is done, and he climbs up his lonely tree.
And it is nature´s way.
Something similar should happen and often, is when a couple
have had a few offspring and the father has brought the bacon home
he has become superfluous.
He is jealous of his sons feels sexually attracted to his daughters,
and fatherly love is an abstraction. The mother...

sport hunting
Hunting for sport
It is hard to be a little fox
They have many natural enemies in the forest
Where they live in the hole of an uprooted tree
They have no umbrella for when it rains
No sofa and a TV, but they do have a loving mother
That tries to protect them till adulthood.
Now men on horseback and howling dogs try
To kill them for sport.
Who are these unsightly people chasing a fox?
Till it can run no more and is torn to pieces by
“Man’s best friend “
For this sport, the hunters dress in a red coat
At the table boat...

The Chase
He eyes his prey in the tall hot grass,
Quietly absorbing every move from a safe distance.
But I hide behind a building watching her go to lunch,
Nervously excited,admiring my new desire.
This kill was one of many, Mother Natures law,
Easy pickings from his victims, a beast with a mission
I watch her , I want her, I need her,
But she doesn’t know I’m here.
Closer he gets to his meal of the day,
Smelling the scent of his next prey
The chase is on.
