I'm the Gardner
He's the Wild Rose
It wasn't a whirlwind romance, more like a glacial thaw in a neglected garden, a place where the promise of vibrant blooms lay buried beneath a thick layer of frost and tangled vines.

Midnite's Scent
O Marri’onne, ethereal wraith,
whose name drifts soft upon my brine-kissed lips,
you linger yet in the twilight of my being,
an echo folded into the shroud of the waves.
I, Kai of the abyssal depths, born of the sea’s mournful hymn,
sing now to you, my love, my ruin,
to the memory that binds me still,
to the scent of midnight where you once walked the shores.
Beneath the obsidian dome of a moonless sky,
I dwell, a shade tethered to salt-stung tides.
The sea, my cradle, my captor, whispers your name,
a dirge woven in threads of foam...

They elders say that through this one life, that you will have encounters that we may never truly understand. FOR each one will be different, than the one before it 🤔 For sure each one will have lessons, that we must learn to navigate through the next, chapter of our lives. Finding My Worth in Myself
"You have a victim mentality," they say.
"You don't like the hard work," they say.
"You're just making excuses."
No, I don't let toxic people tell me who I am anymore. It's tempting to think they are right, but I think there's evidence pretty damning against them.

It seems everyone knows best
My way or the highway
My politics are the only way
And I won’t accept you feel that way
I understand and you don’t
And so we will be enemies
I cannot accept your point of view
It affects me too much
I’m not a snowflake I’m just right
I’m sensitive, my mental health is fragile
And because of the way I feel
I can’t trust my fellow humans
You were wrong
And to hell with democracy if it doesn’t go my way
Hang on that’s a bit religious hmm
American against American
It’s so sad ...

Not a cloud in the sky.
This will be my last post on DUP .
The writers on this site are brilliant and prolific ,so much so that instead of writing I'm spending too much time reading .I need to return to my books.There is a fascinating variety of contributors here and without knowing each one personally, I think all feel compelled to write to help free themselves from suffering.
