LIVE FEMMES
it all just falls away,
the memories of girls.
the games they played,
the records they made,
the cootie-riven curls
and feminine landscapes melting.
until all that remains
are two splayed legs in neon tights
above a sign that reads LIVE FEMMES.
the feminine has always been
bought and sold in the marketplaces,
eternally reducing to
the old cliches of male lust.
pink games and purple prose...
products live once and then crumble,
the bloody teeth of time
forever at their heels.

Some Stray Thoughts on Misogyny
Your Mother's Eden, see.
Her plants watered only by drink
divine, without adultery.
She doesn't lust, she doesn't ache.
She'll make the beds, and break
the eggs. And if she doesn't, death awaits.
But Eden always dies. No tree
or blade exists without mortality's
office. And yet we blame Eden, the dog.
And should a woman turn on us...
Eden doesn't just wither, it burns.
Why else were England's witches only burned
when wife's magic was used against husbands?
The codes of masculinity
were built on...

Two Truths at Once
Men feel pain too.’
What odd timing.
We’re all victims to this patriarchal society where we are expected to ignore the blood dripping down our cheeks and they are expected to lick it from our skin.
We’re all broken down and smashed into overflowing molds made by people who don’t even know our names.
Because Eve was made from Adam’s rib,
Eve will forever be forced to nurse the hole in his side.
Filling the growing cavern with her flesh,
While also nursing his children.

Elevate To The Gifts Of My Mind Then We Can Talk
Within the firmament of my sacred mist
So many have tied to find that spark, of a wandering free soul, upon the chants of the wind, an ordained divine gift
Bestowed way before the beginning of time
Held up to the sky, unto the Most High, blessed unto Heaven’s chime
No creature of great or small
He who stumbles, must first learn to walk again, then must learn to stand tall
My truth lies in my heart, and offered of its reaping to the mind to decipher, as you come to understand
Not upon land ...

A gymnast girl
In halls of light, where shadows play,
Her spirit takes flight, finding its way
Muscles flex, making a worshiping plea,
On balance beam, she's wild and free.
Her muscles like silk, her bends to gaze.
She bends and twists as in liquid maze.
Defying hold, a sensous show,
A silent poem, through her body flow.
Sweat may drip, and limbs may turn,
But in her eyes, a fierce fire will burn.
So, watch her flip and tumble in a rhythmic quest,
Because her beating heart will finds its best.

Hymn to Circles
she folds herself
into fragile origami on the chair
hair draped across her cheek
she talks
of everything and nothing
her tiny paw clutching a stone
that gives her words
permission
to leave her throat
to become truths
to birth from her voice
sometimes I find it difficult
to come here at all and others
I watch her deconstruct gently
revealing pieces of herself
over and over
until
she is lighter somehow

Softy Co-Piloting Your Mind First Class (Air Style)
To be in the know moment one takes time to see things as others cannot grasp the concept or lose focus of presented perceptions
We go through life to make better choices for ourselves
For the parents who have children, safeguard their future the best way possible
Read to them is always my advice
Do not allow highway information from the internet to be the window of their innocent souls
What happens when you live in a world that not only supports you...

Girl Power
My dear, I see the pain and suffering in your eyes,
But you are the movers and shakers of the world.
You are the reason why I have the blood running in
My strong veins. Your pain is my pain and the guys?
They do not know what it is like to hold the curled
Words and watch them disappear into thick skin
So no one else sees their wounds. You are a warrior
And goddess no one else can ever become. Through
And through you are tough like leather. Like a star
You shine. You are becoming a healer and worrier
Because that is what the generations...

Riding the Camelid of Distress on International Women’s Day
Chillin’ in a state of constant fear and trauma
And all I gots to say is thanks Obama
I be twitching and shaking on my way back home
I have a hard time remembering David the Gnome
The theme song specifically, and how that junks went
Door Dash is how my whole paycheck got spent
And even tho I be craving that KFC
I know it ain’t the healthiest meal for me
But imma YOLO this shit till the walls come down
I’m livin’ it up and painting the town
A dark shade of puce
Imma let it hang loose
I suspect Lizzo been having more mayo...

We are women
Do we stand? Do we stumble?
Are we strong? Are we nimble?
Do we shake? Do we shiver?
Are we cold? Do we quiver?
No, we are women
We sadly don’t get that choice
You have to constantly fight
For your right to deserve life
