the clouds
the clouds
were busy
shape
shifting,
forgetting
how to fly,
their sense
of direction
was over,
their
languages
disappeared,
they opened
their mouths
and only
rain formed,
taking time
to fall
to
the ground,
even with
no intentions,
they weighted
the earth
with their
lost voices.

i heard
another

this morning,
the thunder
calling,
the clouds
refilled,
the wind's
conversation

swinging arms,

stand at
the edge,

all plump

well fed,
the rains

i'll follow my shadow
what
blue morning
eased its smile
up early
over
the landscape,
an early
whistle opening
the windows,
the doors,
eyes plunging
into living,
uncoiling breaths
drank heavily,
and
before it
was known,
those salt
and pepper
clouds
moved ahead
of me,
i got up
to walk around.
