Kit Kat
I have a cat
That drives me crazy
And never lets me sleep
She runs around
Chasing ghosts
And chews on cardboard boxes
Her claws are pointy
Her teeth are sharp
I’ve definitely been impaled
But she is cute
When she cuddles
And curls up on my pillow
That doesn’t excuse
Her shitty behavior
That causes me to yell
I must admit
She’s damn adorable
And that gets her out of trouble
But I can’t be angry
At the cutest cat
That is so fucking lovable

KITTIES
Kitties are the cutest scourge
To ever hit the earth
So scorned that stopping a cat
From becoming a parent
= getting it “fixed”
A group of them
Is called a litter
Which also means trash
Or place that cats poop
Few domesticated critters
Are easier to lose
In couch cushions
And laundry loads
Kitties have it hard
Seriously you want
To bring one of these
Peeping pestilences
Into our house?
To ever hit the earth

THE NINTH LIFE
The creature ran out into the road, a sprinting shadow of charcoal leaps into the darkness. I saw a mere glimpse of three leaps before it was seen by the edge of the headlight beams.
"NO! NO!! NOooo!!!!!! " I yelled out from the passenger seat before this creature vanished from sight.
THUD!!!!!!!!
"Just keep driving Dianne"
"What?"
"YOU just hit a cat, just go, don't look back."
"That was a cat?"
"I saw him running out in the road at the last minute, you didn't, Its not your fault, just go on....

That's Ninja
He's on lawn and road patrol
He's at his station
at the living room window
He's very good at what he does
He takes his job seriosly
and he performs his duties proudly
and quite diligently
ever ready to protect
his master and his forever home
Fortunately, I 've been warned
about the men in big trucks
forever stealing our trash
and unwanted leftovers
sitting curb side
And the menacing looking...

Honky White Trash Kitty-cat
I was sitting in my easy chair
my feet upon the pouf…
heels resting on a cushion…
'twas the best beneath this roof
Deep into a mystery
I was buried in the book…when
round the corner Honky came
he had that cat-crazed look...
He galloped through the dining room and pelted down the hall...by the time he reached the living room
speed had him in it's thrall...
Here is where... I red my book... as Honk came round the corner
headed for the cushion...on the pouf
next to my feet…
Yon cat leapt up into the air ...

come back to haunt and

been disgraced

so you're forced to get up anyways.
