Did you ever think
I will ever come back
Did you once contemplate
Our lives will ever be back on track
We have moved on my dear
Not from love we have had or the lack
Of trying, but from the time
Time we drifted apart or didn’t comeback
Did you ever think
I will ever beg again
Did you once remind yourself
Of the sorrow caused and the pain
I will never go back to that life
Now that I recall the misery and the chain
I locked myself inside a cell
I have been trying...

Sunset Sinks Into The Crying Ocean
a globe of fire flickering out
last rays are bright but offer
no warmth
drinks glide down my throat
in an abundance of ice
the cold comfort of fermented
sanity
a light buzz as the sun cuts through
the glint of waves
rocks crunch beneath my toes
I sit beside the esky
reflecting
a choppy sea of things I should have said
regrets tight around my throat
a noose
a slow burn
that has seen the world turn
a new way to measure things that are gone

Levels and Layers
I watched another sun come up
And another sun has set
As shadows lengthen into the night
But nights no darker than the day
And my life
Both good and bad
Lies wasted in the stain
The feeling of lost
Which cradles me now in emptiness
And for what
For saying I wanted to be kissed as if this was our last breath
For wanting to be part of us
And not a me and you
For wanting warmth and not just a body
Lying beside me in the bed

How many years have I slept...

to get her in the right mood

in return for so much love?

Fake candy decorating a fake pine scented tree
Seasonal, but what better way to describe you and me
The need for our thing, I’ve been told has been locked away mentally
That my love for you has became your home away from home, escaping Lonely
Me feening for you like this only makes me weaker and weaker
This heart of mine is a punishment detector, a fucking pain seeker
