The Truth Will f**k You Dry
If you could disappear, I'd be a happy man
What does not kill you, only makes you much more vulnerable for the next time
Take a huge bite of my psychotic addiction
Come a little closer, I'll knife you in the kitchen
Consequences and truth led to your conviction
Trial made up of errors, another crucifixion
Eat it whole
Guzzle it down
Vomit it up
Fuck the ground
The enemy is within you
Kiss your ass, as you are your only friend

memoirs of a shadow soul
I'm broken, I know it
went into the dark fighting like a gladiator to get back
another shot to go down in flames maybe
effigy of the soul, you don't know me anymore
quiet rebellion, they say, half dead, I was combative the whole time
was fighting shadows
they circled, I didn't balk
god said it was something to behold
fighting for my right
I talk some mad shit about the spirits
guess they thought it was time we handled it
not to say I don't fear
but damned if I will cower

Anybody There?
We are biologic automata
With nary a god to help us out
In avoidance of traumata
By way of repeating pulpit shout
In all its traditional mimicry
Of radio signals sent to space
With the telemetric gimmickry
Manufactured by the human race.
The parallels are plain to see
Betwixt antennae and all steeples
And though they often disagree
Both search the sky for alien peoples,
Who, it's safe to say, in either case,
Seem to prefer us in our place!
With nary a god to help us out

I give you the majestic sky in its splendor vibrant blue
The rivers the lakes and the seas
As my Aquarian water flows freely from me

What say you of misfits and rebels?
Seeing is believing; freedom rings true for some
unrelenting pain is garnered
and I lost sight of you in the mists
sacred art is to know you
unforgiven on the path
resurrecting old demons
my thoughts observe and interfere when you need
my vow kept

void of valor it was for naught

Standing at the gates of Hell
Your house sits on Mount Hermon.
Drinking blood with me from a wine glass.
Sharing pain and suffering sip after sip.
Becoming one soul in that moment.
Fallen angels breaking free from bondage.
Seeing how far and fast we can fall,
once the chains were removed.
Black wings in a transfiguration.
Displaying the most magnificent sins.
Steeped in sorrow and sadness.
The Watchers, no longer just watching.

Seeing heaven as a prison.
