hovering over the city at night
celestial visions in the moonlight
sparkling vistas with twinkling stars
and Jupiter, Venus, Saturn and Mars
with Sirius blazing far away
in the blink of an eye no longer I stay
leaving the Earth, rushing through space
Sirius A, B, and C I now face -
Sirius C, a tiny red star
with a planet whose oceans stretch very far
beyond the horizon as seen from the spot

on an island with mountains, warm and serene
cool ocean breezes blowing, a stream ...

On A Planet The Locals Have Called Earth
One
day, she
woke up and
discovered that
she was topless and
on a male of this one
planet's local species by
the reflection she saw in a
mirror and felt like going back to
her ship and report her findings to Home.
But just as she was about to do that,
she looked at her handsome host and
noticed that she was finding
faith in a newfound true
love especially
on a planet
the locals
have called
Earth.

Then traveled through walls, pavements
Power lines and railway tracks
I crawled through the creases in earth
Then gathered up hair, dust motes
Dead skin, and spun into birth

Chicken Little cries in the night
how odd, the gardeners nod and smile
as they plant their minds in neat little rows
never feeling that their hearts have stopped beating
the rhythm isn't there
yet Chicken Little dances to a cosmic beat
singing of love and acceptance
the gardeners complain of all the noise
"Nutty as a fruitcake"

on the day the music died

I am deep inside myself
and I can't get out of my head
there is the negative thinking and then there are the others
the other people in my mind
don't tell me they aren't real
that they are manifested parts of me
they have there own way of speaking
and unique to them are there postures
posing my body in different ways
there is Elizabelle a teenager of about eighteen
and then there is our Father, a miscreant
they talk to each other quite I often
and I just listen to them chat
a lot of times I don't have...
