Giving Up on Love
I don't give up on love for myself and for my friends and family, but I do give up on romantic love.
I will honor the fact that I may need the rest of my life to process what happened with Josh and process what happened in my childhood and so forth. I need to do this alone without anyone by my side.
I know I'm more than worthy of a relationship, but the world doesn't see it that way. And that's not my fault. Not my doing.
People see me as a burden because of my mental illnesses, but I see myself as a vulnerable, caring woman who has loved deeply. Loved beyond...

Lunar Alchemy
In the night of darkness,
The trees get taller on a full moon,
Branches get longer than noon,
Leaves are greener with veins thick.
Darkness gets darker,
Moonlight yearns for blood,
Squirrels hide in their treehouses,
When the beast walks through the forest.
A blend of a wolf and medusa’s head,
Spitting lethal poison out of their hissing voices,
Standing on hooves of a goat,
Looking for innocent blood to cherish its soul.
Walks distances, delving deeper,
Thirst builds up like a snowball,
Swaying anything on...

The Pool
One of the best days throughout these weeks I've been sick was the days I spent at the pool. My family isn't super rich or anything, but we're a part of this country club since we've been members for years. And the best part is going inside the hot tub, feeling the steamy water touch my skin. Feeling something like that caress my skin, makes the loneliness and heartbreak go away for a moment.

I know somewhere I mean something to someone

Even The Rats Comfort Her
Unlike many, she's happy, happy that living beings are in our house that's she's able to interact with. That she's able to see and smile at.
The little mouseys roam all in her home, but she's not mad at their presence. She's happy knowing something usually unwanted can be welcome by her. That her welcoming the unwelcoming makes her happy.
Because deep down inside she knew she was unwelcome. That there was no place made for her other than the temple she wants to create.
She wants to save the impossible because she was impossible to love.

Eternal Vestige
Bright “Time heals” quotes
Only made my waiting dismal,
Pointless clock,
Broken pendulum,
A lifetime ticking in vain.
Slowly rotting in despair,
As if I’m unworthy
For the years to embrace me,
For the months to mend my shards,
For the weeks to cure my wounds,
For the days to treat my scars,
For the minutes to wipe my tears,
For the seconds to hush my ache.
Left with undying remnants,
Imprinted marks of anguish,
Sharpened claws of nightmares,
Tucked beneath my pillow—
An eternal vestige.

It Takes A Million Negative Thoughts
It takes so much conscious effort to have a few positive thoughts that become fleeting.
I want to give myself credit in a way many haven't.
And even though I'm still scared I have a victim mentality and scared that I'm making excuses, I know I'm a boss who takes care of herself and accepts that I need a comfortable life and that's why I'm still living here. I can handle it, and I will get out of my mom's. I will through the story, Free. I will become free by writing Free!

Finding My Worth in Myself

No, I don't let toxic people tell me who I am anymore. It's tempting to think they are right, but I think there's evidence pretty damning against them.
