The Marquess Of Queensberry rules
I loved oscar wilde
he was flawed, floored
by his time in court, caught you,
queensberry smiled

Wild Oscar!
At a faerie festival
Once upon a time
I walked into a bar tent
Where some-one, pointed out a genie
As that genie
Was baring their buttocks
Thia person
Then said a curious thing
And made an extraordinary claim
That the genie
Had once belonged
To Oscar Wilde
And that Oscar
Was oft misquoted
And for instance
What he actually said on one occasion
"I have nothing to declare,
But my genies arse!"
Which makes much more sense
Under these circumstances
I left shortly afterwards
As i don't like ...

WAITING SHE SAID GOODBYE
Holds no fascination without you I'd be true
But there's something I know that someday, well
I'll lay down on our luck and words
Need is to hard and then I awoke
Pictures of him 'cause
See it's killing who I'm living in sorrow
Till my dying day down to nothin', nothin'
Sure looked so good back then better late
I was the man in the world
Me where you began are you waiting
She said goodbye the chimes of time
Enough you get to thinkin'
Ends behind we've been through living hell
After all I've got some old memories...

Everything is Sex
Everything is sex
except the thing itself
don’t confuse the one
with expression of the first
don’t confuse the two aspects
though that is the intent
when your masters describe
a world put to your eyes
the need propels discourse
evoked for money’s sake
turning round the wheel
displaying the brass ring
hinting what lays beyond
promise to be denied
still the masses sup the drink
as the thirst is widespread
forgive the leading edge
that gives nothing at the end

a day of gayness
A Friday of Gayness
Today I drove to Faro town I wanted a meal of tuna steak with
onions at the café I used to frequent fifteen years ago.
The place had gone upmarket and so had the prices one waiter
remembered me but not my wife and she took a dislike to him
said he was effeminate; the café has two parts, one with a wine bar
I mostly sat there. Oscar Wilde came in or someone looking as him,
he remarked of what he had observed during the day an intelligent
mind who could recite his own poems beautifully .
I decide to become gay too, to be...

Et Tu, Poet?
(written w/JohnFeddeler)
wanna rattle the grave
and wake the fucking dead
with the fire i spit
between these teeth.
you know it's about damn time
that someone stands the fuck up
and speaks their part of mind.
can't keep this mouth shut
too many speaking of nothing
spending day in and day out
reaching for their burnt out stars
my Sister screams from the mountaintop,
but her cries perish in silence & sorrow.
her crudeness belies her heart’s trepidation
for the death of art, long buried in...

Cemetery Gates
These Lyrics are not mine, they were written by Morrisey, just thought i would post them as i personally think that they are amazing
A dreaded sunny day
so I meet you at the cemetery gates
Keats and Yeats are on your side
A dreaded sunny day
so I meet you at the cemetery gates
Keats and Yeats are on your side
while Wilde is on mine
So we go inside and we gravely read the stones
all those people all those lives
where are they now?
with the loves and hates
and passions just like mine
they were born
and then they...

Oscar Wilde lives
of all the story writing in truth I am tired, I am out of juice
I know what paths I walked before , I was there
what's worse I am becoming into a talker pointing down old roads.
Swallows fly to Africa, they don't sit on high wires with whys
chattering like sparrows, they up and go or stay to pluck sapphires
from golden prince's eyes and give them to the poor.
I am still waiting for my swallow though I have a ruby under my pillow.
Walking along the motorway back from the supermarket
late on and in the dark, with food to eat...

Hostile Witness.
What’s it you?” I said. “You’d better find
a civil tongue, and keep in your head.”
he replied. “I know a lot about you and gentlemen,
enough to see you put away with hard labour.”
“You ain’t a copper! You look the part,
but I don’t reckon you’re real. You’d have carted
me off by now.” He stared at me, I thought
maybe I’d pushed to hard. I thought he’d hit me.
“Let’s just say this is your lucky day, shall we?
Remember, luck can change, and I still have old friends
on the force. I want to talk to you about a certain famous
gentleman and...
