darkness breeds creativity
I can never tell when someone is joking
Especially if I haven't known them for long
Or if we don’t hang out a lot
It’s especially hard to know when they’re poking fun over the phone
If I can’t see their faces how will I ever know if they’re being serious or not?
I use the word stupid a lot
Maybe I'm just self projecting?
Maybe I'm not?
Stupid isn’t the only word I would use to describe myself
But it also wouldn’t be the word I would think of last
Flamboyant, bubbly,...
Especially if I haven't known them for long
Or if we don’t hang out a lot

here i sit
alone
outside
downtown
again
at this popular
beautifully scenic
coffee shops
outdoor courtyard
on yet another
near perfect
sunny weather
warm winter
desert day
shirt off
my back
writing tablet
in my lap
open pen
in hand
waiting
in silence
patiently waiting
trusting
for something new
not yet come
to come
here...
here i sit

AS ANOTHER DREAM PAGE SLOWLY TURNS (12-6-2009, sunrise, Palm Springs, California)
as another
new day
peacefully dawns
another
open
blank page
quietly yawns
as white gold
sun ascends
relaxing
imagination from
cold nights
now lapsed
just passed
tightly sphinctered
nocturnal clench
as passing
dreams page
slowly turns
into this lucid
waking form
where inks
thin flow
spills slowly forth
out into
all these
morphing
wire fenced...
new day

GAINING PROLIFICACY, GUIDANCES; PROPER HEALING
In so many ways I've tried to remain preoccupied keeping busy staying to myself focused and More in spiritual growth strengthening in my mental and positivity balancing the negative even in my downfalls I may cause (who's perfect, certainly not I; I don't regret, I learn more to evolve for a better me to be the best for the ones I love most def (they know who they are) / .... enrichment I never hesitant to speak about me so my physical being can reach far beyond more than just turning the knob on closed lining doors only hoping it could be the right opening for me as hard as I push daily yet...

I stare at the wall
I look at the clock
I try to move on

Treasures of Heaven
The center drawer of my desk opens to reveal
A book with such beauty to conceal/reveal
From prismatic poetic
and spiral eyes
To eyes that become spirals inside of prisms
As my vision is clarified and cleansed
With each interaction
Impressed upon every aspect
of my perception
I wondered if such beauty still exists
Emerging from unknown locations
Secretly sage
Impressing like the circulation of nature
in a natural circulatory system
Emerging from the vapor
and the ether ...

through feelings
born into
written thoughts
given form
through words
congealed
into
manifested expression
as potential
new poems
i wonder
aloud
to myself
at times
if its perhaps
an early
symptomatic
warning sign
of aphasia
coming on
for i struggle
and feel challenged
sometimes
when the focus
or flow state
of my
inner muse
gets suddenly interrupted
unexpectedly
distracted
or temporarily...
