Mother's Day Card
You quietly sign the mother’s day card
and write, “Thank you for your gifts to me.”
We place it on her pillow and then
I choose to unwrap myself in the dim light
of her room, a handmade gift from my mother.
It must be startling to you I think while watching
your eyes wash down my breasts and linger below.
I am my own person as you are
and so we’ll decide in these few
moments the cast members and plots
for the next scenes in our lives.
The acts to follow might be unsure to us
but they can be imagined.

MOTHER
The true definition of MOTHER is something that can’t be put into words
But we try, we use words like
Trust
Love
Sacrifice
Warmth
Adversity
Strength
Pain
But it’s so much more.
Every day, you wake up and every day you put in the work
Every day you wake up you deal with the pain
And every day you survive
And that makes you beyond perfect.
You deal with the struggles the world sends your way
and you keep on pushing
But being MOTHER is still something that can’t be put into words
You do

and...

Haunted
I'm haunted by the words of a disturbed mind
A woman seeking peace but could never find
Cause other things would bind onto her soul
Escaping its firm grasp was her ultimate goal
Innocence was stole at a tender, young age
Causing her mind to have fits of rage
Finding the final page of endless chapters
Is the conclusion she was chasing after
Faster & faster was the decline of her health
Mental and physical but pixels were in stealth
Her bundle of wealth entered the scene at 16

Oceans Of Praise
Provided our protection since conception
As your umbilical trickled down nutrition
Parturition transitioned us into the world
Admiration started when we were furled
Curled up in the pit of your loving arms
Where you vowed to keep us safe from harm
With maternal charm, you wooed our hearts
Sending our love for you through the charts
You give heart to hearts whenever they're needed
Never forsaking when guidance ain't heeded
We're hard headed; thinking we know it all
But you don't hesitate to catch when we fall

Morning kisses
How do I say this when I'm mourning , how can I be positive and say I'm not the same anymore.
The girl you want or long for has gone , I don't know where.
But she is scared , silent and exhausted.
I'm pretty sure she's kinda dead or dying , I can't get words out of her.
Trust me I've been trying , for you , for myself.
Yet something is missing and I am gone.
Something has travelled , dissapered , took her bag packed and gone.
One to many missed stops or one to many wrong turns on the way.
Always...

How The Whole World Will Come To LOVE THE RUSSIANS !!
Before the world loves the Russians, it will HATE them!!
Here's why:
First, Russia will bomb America and prevent us from launching our retaliatory strike !!
(For our military computers have been HACKED by Russia !!
And our software has been ruined !!).
Second, Russia will overrun Western Europe in a single week.
Bombing 3 nations will be enuff to intimidate all of Europe into immediately surrendering (Daniel 7.8).
So at that point, the world will totally HATE Russia !!
Next, Russia invades Israel to "liberate Palestine"...
Here's why:

SALVATION Re-examined
There are 3 parts or phases to salvation:
(1)Justification,(2)sanctification,(3)glorification.
Justification comes first, then
sanctification, then finally, glorification.
Now, justification is that PART of salvation which a free gift, "the gift of God."
But sanctification, surprisingly, is NOT a free gift.
It's a matter of WORKS !!
As Ephesians says, "we are made for good works, to walk in them."
These good works don't come AFTER salvation - they are PART of it.
How can I justify my claim that JUSTIFICATION is a free gift,
while...

Sorry, no alcohol at all since last Sept 15, 2019.
And then, there's The Sobriety Marathon, 1987-2015.
In 2015 I decided to "treat myself" to trying all them craft beers that were not in existence when started 28 year sobriety "binge".
I was in another near year of sobriety when Leah died. I maintained sobriety for a month or two afterward, but then went back on my world beer tour.
Sept 15 was the stupidest day of my so-called Life. And it was triggered by an EXPLOSION of grief in the parking lot of the neighborhood grocery. I had picked up the mail before...
