The End of Remembering
Grateful for each small moment
I remember.
Come one September,
I might forget.
Left to sit beside
foreign embers.
I dig through depths of those I know.
Not much more than what they show.
A lavender early morning,
invites dreams I am storing.
Upon the path I am forging.
On the sunny day my mind is gorging.
She has to live with no memory.
Not even remembering she's my mom.
It's heart shattering.
Make so many memories.
The ghosts have got lots to see.
I remember.
Come one September,
I might forget.

one's a vistor- one's just passing through- just taking in- every single view, like photographers- with a journal too- blinking camera lens- one's not "human" dude- one's "mechanical...."

Hope Is There
Hope is just below the horizon.
Like the dawn, you can sense
the coming light of your life
though it is not totally visible.
If you can’t lay eyes on your sunrise,
just remember hope exists around the corner.
It may seem like the sun won’t rise for you,
just remember feeling the warmth is hope.

“From The Ashes” - My Take
As a Survivor, I can tell you without hesitation there is no such thing as “greater damage” or “worse pain.” If you are a Survivor, your experience, or a series of events, was painful enough to damage you in unimaginable ways. I don’t need to hear what the trauma was, it’s never insignificant if it alters your reality in some measurable fashion. All you need to tell me is“I’m a survivor” and I will know what it means to you. What it means to me. No details required. I’ve also never had another Survivor ask me for the details of my own personal experiences. I don’t waste time comparing notes....

The Illusion of Medication
This sanctuary is an illusion of internal peace.
Enticing me with hopes of an eternal peace.
This sanctity that I feel eases me temporarily.
Yet I understand that it is merely temporary.
I am sad and alone as I write this,
yet I am free as I write and create.
I vainly hope someday that eternal peace comes.
Yet I understand that will never be.
Psychosis has destroyed me leaving me in ruins.
Yet there is an internal glow that exists.
A heartbeat thunders from within
and I know I am still alive while...

Positivitly Blind Chasing Ghosts
there’s no
finishing line
up ahead
The road
is never ending
with teeth bared
the hounds are chasing
In the distance
there’s a storm
and a burning bridge
just another obstacle
i find in my way
how do I say
goodbye
to the doubts
hhey have become
old friends
each whisper
has me second guessing
every step
i make towards
a happy ending
so my actions
end up being
worthless
who’s gonna
catch my fall
who thinks

the "humankind" experience
why do certain animals tend to run from us?-because it's an instinct within that does not trust.... the same can go for us- and why we withdraw, because one thing we can do(first and foremost) effortlessly is take the time to judge....
no one's hardwired to up and just give up, but there's a certain threshold, within myself- that I'm well aware of....
winging this thing- coasting(figuratively)- my bones trying to hold up this " mobile home" as I often contemplate- "dissappearing acts...."

Alarm!
My alarm goes off and my handsome
hubby reminds me that it's our 1 year
anniversary and that we both took off from work
to spend it together. Say "awww how sweet!"
We make love and hold each other awhile before hunger sets in. We have saved our cake topper in the freezer for this moment. Anniversary breakfast.
He had the sense to defrost it.
We devour it and play in it. It's in my hair and on my boobs and on his crotch. I love my hubby and my life! A hot steamy shower is just minutes away! But first...

words spin
I can not write...
I sleep and
enter the
nightmares...
...inhuman dead hands touching me
places I don't give permission...
never is permission given!
Fingers are worms...
stench makes me want
to hurl stomach contents...
...stomach is acid...
full of fear.
