Sinking Down
A jack of all trades and a master of none
Isn’t that what you told me when you were young?
So many restless nights avoiding the sun
Careless whispers spoken with a poison tongue
Sinking down with the lowest of lows
Words are subtle jabs leading to blows
Never throw stones inside this fragile house
When did you stop listening to such sound advice?
An alley cat stalks the unsuspecting mouse
Playing life’s game costs us more than what’s suffice
Sinking down until insanity seizes control
Lies are a cancer that slowly kills...

She was on her way home from a friend's house
A man raped her in the parking lot of her apartment building
30 feet from the entrance
At first she begged to let her go
He punched her, broke the left half of her jaw
She stopped resisting
It was better to just get it over with and hope that he didn't kill her
All the time he was raping her she could feel it
She didn't black out
She could feel her tearing her up inside
She tried to relax so it wouldn't hurt as much
Her jaw made bright blue sparks flash in front of her eyes every time he...

filler up
my loneliness echoes inside me
cruelly deceptive within my hollows I fill the empty space with you
but you are not mine to have
and I wonder, would you fill these places if things were different
seeking ever seeking for a way to cope
Holding my breath underwater is my life
I know I can't hold it long
I'm on razor blade tight rope walking
Anxiety is getting worse by the day
my hold is tenuous at best
The worst has me wondering how long I can do this
Will every day be torture

Don't Submit to the darkness
From dreams in the dark of night some dreams somehow, changes your mind thoughts on so many levels of your subconscious thoughts, sometimes taking you to the edge of no return. Evil Empire
I’m an advocate for compassion and empathy
But the recent political results left me disappointed
Now the world is lacking even more sympathy
While several leaders are illogical and disjointed
But I remember that before all this came to pass
I thought maybe we should let crazy take the wheel
I mean how often do you see a vehicle driven by an ass?
Spellbound by some witchcraft in the art of the steal
I think I wished for this so that all would be revealed
So that even the most blind would eventually learn
Thou shall fucketh...

love this feverish temper
i burn fluently high now...
than the wordless asphyxia
of a marooning heart.. by
the summing up chronic toxins
of a pretty veiled world's smiling
assassin acts- a slow python kill
more a sleeper cell terrorism ...

fighting the gag order

I am reminded...
of all the days I longed to run away
how funny is that
grown ass adult having fantasies of escape
find a little place on the side of a mountain
just me {& my cats}...
no cars or fights
or gunshots across the street
just the whispering rumors of wind
& gossipy titters of birds in the trees
nobody to notice if I remain mute
when the only person around is me
alternatively...
I could mouth off whenever I want
...who's going to protest
lately I've had this crazy idea...
I am reminded...
of all the days I longed to run away

APRIL FOOL'S DAY, EVERY DAY
DUPPING ISN'T COOL
Most of us have heard this
ancient proverb:
"Fool rush in where angels
fear to thread."
My Guru taught me that
if you're not on guard to the
wiles, tricks, and deceptions
of others, every day will be
April's Fool DAY.
P.T. Barnum, the circus
tycoon operated on the theory
that a "sucker is born every minute."
Making a fool out of a person
can start as a deliberate behavior
or it can drift into one before it is realized.
When you choose to make a fool
out of someone, you have made ...

No Time For Regret!
No time for regret that belongs to yesterday.
We cannot change what's been and gone -
So why waste the energy?
What can't be fixed might drive us crazy,
And life's too short for that!
Let's embrace it, come what may -
Celebrate a brand new day,
YOUR WAY!
A future unknown.
Haha! I'm the last person to revel in the unknown -
Anyway, it sounded good!
But hey, there is some merit in it -
Feeling excited about what's to come,
While now is simply an unwritten book.
It's easy to get bogged down fearing...
We cannot change what's been and gone -
So why waste the energy?
