Worry clouds my thoughts just now
As I hope that all is well
I miss you more
This emptiness echoes notes of loneliness
More somber
Stronger
In sad minor tones…
Is it because distraction
Left the “missing you”
To stack silently
Into crushing weights
Of empty?
I seek a sign
A touch
A memory
A hint
Of your love
Today casts
A blank canvas
Open to your artistic touch
My Forever Love,
words cannot express
This need tonight
(& always)
For more, ever more...
As I hope that all is well
I miss you more

Cold cold flesh coils
Another day ends.
Another soul lost.
Just another peaceful winter night.
Just the streets and the crisp crisp air that pleases my lungs as they burn in cold contentment.
This isn't living.
Not just being alive...
Death is coequal with love and life.
Not a curse-
(Not a kindness)
I don't ask for much.
And I don't mind when I don't get much either.
It's these moments that I shall keep.
When my soil puppet like the snow fades away in the nice night air.

Miracles
Long ago
I lost belief
As every miracle
Turned to science,
Happenstance
Or the yin yang wheel of life
As language grew
So I knew
The fantasy of Santa, elves & fairies
And why they skipped my home each year
Their magic was not real
Yet I knelt in prayer each day
Asking for a miracle—
Miracles of speech & survival
Miracles of kindness & forgiveness
Those Prayers misplaced the power—
The strength I found within
To begin Again
Yet now I find again a prayer ...

SENSES
We all have eyes
But it takes time to see
What is good & bad for you and me.
We both have a heart
But it takes time to feel
Process,accept,or reject notions to heal.
We both have ears
Yet we’re reluctant to honestly take heed
2 concerned with transgressions& fears.
We all love the power of touch
Especially if it’s passionately convenient
Not realizing trauma bonding is a crutch.
We too have noses
Blind to the foul stench of stagnation
But even shit can bloom roses.
