I'll Meet You Halfway
With a hollow breath in a heavy world
Her faith is a fallen leaf in an early morning light
Love caught in a whirlwind
With a plead to never say goodbye
She cries
Please visit me
Please visit me
If you don't mind
Please comfort me
Look in on me
From time to time
I'll even meet you halfway
If you can't fly this far
For just one day
We'll rest this tired heart
Past the highest clouds
And the furthest star
Between heaven and our house
I'll meet you halfway
Dripping down her...
Her faith is a fallen leaf in an early morning light
Love caught in a whirlwind
With a plead to never say goodbye
She cries
Please visit me
Please visit me
If you don't mind
Please comfort me
Look in on me

YOU
You have the gift to awake my thirst,
When your arms touch my corpse,
And our eyes paint the path for our lips to meet,
Heavens choir composed the melody our bodies turns on,
while clouds carve our names throughout the universe,
Shadows of you and me,
Reflect on the love that was
meant to endure
When the sun sets and you are not around,
It feels so cold, slowly I dry out,
I pray that our star can shine again,
And bring back to me
You, who lights me,
You, who believes in me
You, who completes me...
When your arms touch my corpse,
And our eyes paint the path for our lips to meet,
Heavens choir composed the melody our bodies turns on,
while clouds carve our names throughout the universe,
Shadows of you and me,
Reflect on the love that was

It feels so cold, slowly I dry out,
I pray that our star can shine again,
And bring back to me
You, who lights me,
You, who believes in me
You, who completes me...

Down the hall reeking of budded reefer
Into the elevator that smells of disinfectant
Down the hall that smells like dead cells
Into the nook where I took the needed somethings
Masked and gloved I must look like a mortician
Ready to manipulate and sweeten the necro-plasms
Passing one unmasked bearded bloke
He kept to his side eyes remaining stoic
Not wishing to spread the famed virulence
Though reveling in the deserted residence
Black gloved knuckle selecting my floor
I anxiously anticipate someone barging...

Forever Worn
Love when it slips through, your fingers. you are left with a discarded cardigan. Its seen better days. It has been worn draped from shoulder's who never felt the weight of the world as it was shared and cared for with a label of delicacy and fibres that withstood the test of durability. A double-knit pearl one knit two with a tight stitch which was entwined. You never realised that years down the line it was exchangeable.
Now your favourite is demoted in an infrastructural remodel. It doesn't seem to meet the new guidelines it’s not considered to be a classic staple piece it...

Cursing The Dawn For The Light What Foolishness We Contrive In the Deep Dark Of Night
In the pre-dawn
Misting quietly
Coating green
No singing wildly
The hush is thick
And I push through deftly
Hoping to catch
A glimpse of her surely
Up ahead I hear rustling softly
The sound of tender foot on leaf
While whispers of relief wash over me
I emerge urgently to wisps of air fleeting silent ...
Yet boldly ...
I search the scent
So elusive
Breathing all but
Not inclusive
I steel to endure
I look for tips
And wonder if
My mind plays tricks ...
Misting quietly
Coating green
No singing wildly
The hush is thick
And I push through deftly
Hoping to catch
A glimpse of her surely
Up ahead I hear rustling softly
The sound of tender foot on leaf
While whispers of relief wash over me

Flood of Clouds
I descend the hill towards the sea to find a foggy wonderland. Low chill clouds are haunting the spectral winter trees, flooding their barren boughs with secrets of the skies. Their pale greys blanket those clamoring fingers of the cedars, spruce & firs with a mysterious calm. This world of faded earthy beauty, this world of flighty fairies, this world of melancholy is where an echoing voice from years gone by whispers soft as the dew, “I still love you…” dropping a cool kiss on my brow before I hunker inside for warmth & light this grey December day.
On the roads, flood...
On the roads, flood...

I had gone to sea as a gally boy it was the way
I could save money for a further education
and it so happened the ship was stuck on ice
In the Black Sea waiting for a Russian tugboat
to set us free.
the crew were an odd sort, they had survived
the war, but spent so long time on ships they
had no idea how to get home.
the officers were elderly men picked up from
the last chance saloon and since the ship was
dry they didn't chance it by going ashore
the cook was Swedish and the gayest man
