The absolute value of material wealth
Your accumulated wealth
is the greatest sign of your karma...
the karma that got you that wealth,
and the karma you get to distribute through others.

The Past Imperfect, 2
What you were doing does not have to be who you are.
The past Imperfect is how you were acting,
but that karma does not have to endure.
Changing ourselves is harder than a diamond,
which is what you become when you accept
that all pasts are imperfect.
The aim of this change is the present perfect,
which we might never achieve,
but through our wholesome transitions,
we can learn to alleviate avoidable suffering
for others and ourselves.

The Past Imperfect
We do not have to be what we were being.
We do not have to do what we were doing.
We all have the past imperfect,
in which our actions were interrupted,
changed from corrupted and detrimental
back to wholesome and beneficial for everyone.
We do not have to do what we were doing.
We all have the past imperfect,

changed from corrupted and detrimental
back to wholesome and beneficial for everyone.

If you are running from something,
that thing will chase you.
If you are approaching something,
that thing will embrace you.

Gentle Elephants
I could not extinguish my ego,
so I attached it to altruism,
and if you abuse kindness,
I will trample you like a herd of stampeding elephants.

Did AI Write This Poem
No,
it did not,
but how would you know?
AI can do all the things
we wish it could not,
such as write poetry,
academic essays,
and computer languages.

a swallow leaves as pages of palm trees brown.
hardly drinking, the sopping fish
no longer around.
It’s winter now upon subtle grounds
and swallowing difficult when one has that
itch and feel that we might be missing something.
Bookmarked the uncertainty, the mainstay
we do despite the weather,
friends are left behind. Invite to come along
creates a journey of slow to no growth
and hence to feather in between the pages.

the old conflict
The oldest conflict
They shot and wounded the old Syrian in his tobacconist’s
near where I live, he was rescued by passers-by
By the corner, two Jews dressed in black, stood motionless
I thought of vultures, waiting for the lion to die.
It is so abstract 2000 years, nothing ever changes; who is
right and who is wrong don’t matter anymore, empathy
has gone, only grim, ancient hatred remains.
Different interpretations of the right way to God becomes
meaningless, chaos in a miasma of words, everyone is right

Beautiful Oriental Journey of Life - Rewrite
Beautiful Oriental Journey of Life
Future life of our reborn spirits
Headed to the forbidden city
Where dreams soar like dragons
On wings of saffron visions
Born of conch echoes
Whose echo sings of ancient sutras
Flying on prayer wheels in the sky
As our hearts meet on a golden hearth
Where snowy leopards
Lay down with yaks
In peaceful pastures
My wife was still very much alive
and we were taking the train ...

My wife was still very much alive

Hokkaido Maiden
Hokkaido Maiden
Dawn of the kabuki spirit
Rises like a Hokkaido mist
When cold north winds blow
Across her pale winter complexion
Painted like snow
With lips pink like morning
With the glitter in her eyes
Blue as her birthstone
But often clouded by doubt
And dirty blonde tresses
Soaked in sunshine
Of ancient cherry blossom
Reborn

Blue as her birthstone
But often clouded by doubt
