And as I watch with blood red eyes.
Seeking the creature soon to be my prize.
For it is my family's cries that in the end I begin to despise.
Not out of anger or spite.
The ones I hate are you an I.
Face to face with the putrid demon.
Now no one is sure what to believe in.
Feeling lost and alone.
Wandering in the depths of the unknown.
I find it strange this place seems like home.
Questioning is there an ounce of my life that I myself truly own.
Drowning in my pool of self loathing.
The darkness all of a sudden foreboding.
Not sure which direction I am going.
They say I hold some significance.
Whether or not there is such a thing as existence.
Defeat this hell beast for survival of mankind.
Seems a task more suitable for one with a stable mind.
The overpowering need my family does so scream.
All I can do is try for this power I must see in me.
Hoping to change this end I foresee.
They are all dying so this bitch I will make bleed.
The chaos and mayhem is silenced around me.
The only sound now...a single heartbeat.
Confusion is slowly fading.
Filled to the rim can't stop this hating.

Their souls were really mine for the taking.
My eyes no longer blind.
No corner untouched by light.
Now it's clear this was never "you and I".
All a nightmare even enemies eyes.
For it is I they fear.
Why they shed pointless tears.
The ending becoming all to clear.
Their bodies thrown here and there.
Blood splatter is everywhere.
Awaiting my impending doom.
For their lives were all taken too soon.
I refuse to fight...I have too much shame to complain.
For this horrid tragedy I fear, it is only I who is to blame.
