Clean Sheets and Dirty Minds
an illusion caught between suspicions;
unwanted insomnia turned sinfully religious
within this silence lingering paranoia.
waiting for so long to hear the harshness of your
voice, to feel your hands slipping over smooth
bark and your finger dipping into the rippled pool.
seeing the many faces of our innocence, guilty pleasures
brought back to my thoughts riding upon locked away
memories that once i deemed insane and dead upon the shelf.
you took my patience and replaced it with sorrow, i surrendered
unto you like a contagious disease ravished upon
clean sheets and entwined within our dirty minds.
at that moment we both need to pass the ticking time,
longing for sexual magic, piece of a dream that taunts us,

wow this was an amazing write! I loved reading it, favorite line was "longing for sexual magic, piece of a dream that taunts us, satin pillows for exhausted hearts, peace of mind... " really set the tone for the piece! Great title too! =D
