Silent Storm

I stand alone in the night, the unknown
with no place to go, no place to call home
I'm constantly wandering, while I'm hollering
to be rescued

Life is a silent storm, that shows me
I'm broken, and shows me I'm torn
everything I love has been taken away,
right now I'm just praying to live another day
some will say I'm hopelessly broken, some will
say I'm aimlessly hoping, but all I want
is a little bit of light to guide me around
in the middle of the night

I call out hoping for an answer
but silence kills when it goes unbroken
I've tested the hands of fate, and a monster
I became, this is not who I am, inside
I'm just a man, doing what I can to survive
