A Welcome Displeasure
These rats
Their verminous existance
I hear them
I am well aware of their omnipresence
They aren't as subrosa as they assume
Coming and going as they so please
Their claws on the wooden floors
The way they speak
They nauseate me so
I've fixated traps
Hidden my rations
Yet they still return
As if they enjoy the ridicule
Drink it in
Eat it up
Get high on it
Find joy within the anguish
As a welcome displeasure
My step sons
Their verminous existance
I hear them
I am well aware of their omnipresence
They aren't as subrosa as they assume
Coming and going as they so please
Their claws on the wooden floors
The way they speak
They nauseate me so
I've fixated traps
Hidden my rations
Yet they still return
As if they enjoy the ridicule
Drink it in
Eat it up
Get high on it
Find joy within the anguish
As a welcome displeasure
My step sons
