has yielded countless images

so its not a mere case

is the costume

these assumptions
of Your motives being purely skin deep
are solely emanations
from within my tortured
bone walled keep
for that night
we both took a plunge
threw caution to the wind
to lounge
to lunge
to touch tongues
to feel as one
yet now
that sweet adventure is done
I wear a constant contortion
restrain my passion
minimize the drama
to preserve a tiny portion
of strained contact
with my spiritual sure thing
constantly wondering
