the blood does call

it starts from the bottom,
and works its way up.
it starts with the blood,
and it never ends.

have you ever felt the call,
the want to be better.
the subtle sounds of the warrior,
only to stumble, not to fall.

the feel of the steel,
the beat of the drum,
the sound of the horseman,
the sting of the rum.

i am not like you,
the blood calls to me.
the need to fight,
and be in conflicts that bleed.

the blood calls to me,
i have the warriors heart.
with quick precision,
my cold mind breaks the situation apart.

when you scream peace,
my people pay,
with blood and grave,

when you want war,
you call to us.
we've been there before.

so dont try to tell me,
my feelings are wrong,
for this is my oath,
and my soldiers song.
