Freedom, the golden gift
Many a tear may fall on this day
But for you ill shed a few in joy
Finally the day has come
You are once again reunited
With your son
No more are you bound by the
Earthly limitation that once chained
A free spirit
And although many a soul will call out
In search for the man we all love
A smile I will wear when the final greetings are buried in this earth
You are now free, sitting with our heavenly father, now why would I
Want to be sad about that?
But for you ill shed a few in joy
Finally the day has come
You are once again reunited
With your son
No more are you bound by the
Earthly limitation that once chained
A free spirit
And although many a soul will call out
In search for the man we all love
A smile I will wear when the final greetings are buried in this earth
You are now free, sitting with our heavenly father, now why would I
Want to be sad about that?
