The Fool's Game
Capturing you all within a jest,
I`m known simply as the best,
A wicked grin, a devilish smile,
I`m the one with outlandish style,
Keeping to the beat, doing my dance,
Capturing you all in a mystic trance,
A silver tongue, a golden touch,
You`re mesmerized by my double dutch,
Eternally charming, wickedly clever,
I could quite simply go on forever,
but I`m on a mission, a task of sorts,
To begin this game and start the sports,
Riddles in a puzzle, maze in a mind,
Win this game and you know what to find,
It won`t be easy, a twist with every turn,
But pay attention and you will learn,
That every mask, every lyrical lie,
Has a bit of truth and reason why,
Meet the players, meet them well,
For only they know where he may dwell,
Deep within his fiber, deep within his bone,
Follow the rhymes to where he calls home,
Listen to me now, listen to me close,
Read every word as if it meant the most,
For what you seek, what you admire,
Is in that which you never desire,
A horrid truth, a blessed lie,
The meaning most certainly go awry,
My duties done, I`ve said my due,
The rest will be left up to you,
I`m The Fool of fools, The pleasure mine,
The pleasures yours as our fates intertwine.
