you have me
You have me captured
No matter how I run and die
No matter how I beg and cry
You make it clear,
There's no longer 'me'.
You have me tortured
No matter where I hide
No matter how I fight
I can't escape the voice in my ear,
'Pet, you belong here'.
You have me broken
For you say I belong to you
For you say I know it too
You have me screaming
For you say I want you to
For you say I'll love you
You have me.
And yet I hesitate to say,
You have me…

The meaning of lilies
He had always been associated with them.
He. Them. He, my lover. Them, his lilies.
Flowers as white as the purest snow,
or as colourful as light reflecting, playing in Crystal.
Both qualities that remind me of him.
His angelic face, his bright, wonderful eyes.
To me, the meaning of lilies had always been clear,
when I looked at him. Stared at him. Loved him.
But every time he left I caught myself wondering:
What do lilies mean?
After all, what could they possibly mean,
That makes me so vulnerable to their dreamy petals?
What could they mean, to...
He. Them. He, my lover. Them, his lilies.

I was always meant to follow
I was always meant to follow,
my own boy with the looks of Apollo.
And though I knew it would lead to my death,
I kept returning to his bed.
For in his eyes and body I saw a reflection,
of the long lost Hellenic perfection.
I closed my eyes for fate and destiny,
and pulled him even closer to me.
And even though I knew I’d lose him in the end,
in my heart, he would forever be more than a friend.
So I continued my never ending deceive,
holding firm to my passionate belief.

The broken Doll
The broken china doll laid shattered on the floor.
The marble had crushed her little face,
Her tiny arms laid broken around her body.
One eye hid in fear behind the table leg,
A pearly tear played all alone underneath the other.
For ten years she had been their toy.
Young yet merciless boys and girls,
Pulling, pushing, grabbing her fragile body.
Until , when it became too much to bear, the moment came,
She took her chance, jumped, but failed to fly,
and shattered in a thousand pieces on the cold and distant floor.
There she laid waiting,...

To be or not to be
To be or not to be…
That was HIS question.
A poet, a playwright,
A genius, a master
Read out loud by hundreds of people
Respected, Saluted
A man unique in this world
And yet it is that very same question
I ask myself, day by day, night by night
To be or not to be…
To tell or not to tell…
To stay or not to stay…
To be or not to be…
He became famous through that question,
will I as well? Should I?
Though God knows it would be another
sort of fame.
Of course he knows!
He'd just have...

My bailing angel
The scars on my face were plain for anybody to see.
And yet, yet they hid my soul.
Whoever, whatever they saw, it was never me.
But there was a time when I felt whole.
A time when I believed I could be more
more than a beast, deep down in the core.
But one night, years ago, they stole it from me
my life, my love, my soul, my destiny.
And what remained was an empty shell,
to continue living, struggling, failing.
When he disappeared behind bars my heart did as well,
so now I just wait and wonder, will you be the angel bailing?
And yet, yet they hid my soul.
Whoever, whatever they saw, it was never me.
But there was a time when I felt whole.
A time when I believed I could be more

I didn't know how to behave
I didn't know how to behave,
whether I was the master or the slave.
I tried so hard to close my heart,
and just waited for you to show your last card.
I couldn't trust you even though I know what you feel.
I didn't dare to; I hid my soul behind a seal.
I was afraid to dream, to feel, to hope,
so much that I doubted I would be able to cope.
But no matter how hard I fought,
I couldn't keep running and found myself caught.
So now I think I just give in and surrender;
my life, my soul, my heart, they're yours to put in love's blender.

Oh how I wish
Oh how I wish he’d look at me,
and see how much I care.
Oh how I wish he’d look my way,
and for once really see me there.
Oh how I want him to know me,
and finally understand what I feel.
Oh how I wish I could tell him,

once again
Once Again
Once again believed the lie,
Once again failed to fly.
Even when it seemed so true,
There was nothing I could do.
All the things I failed to see,
Made it now to much for me.
And even though I knew it would,
My world changed back for good.
And in the end I watch you leave,
Still on my knees I grab your sleeves.
But I can't bear to look you in the eye,
I beg you; I'm not ready for goodbye.
Once again believed the lie,
Once again failed to fly.
Even when it seemed so true,

Two Greek lovers
Two Greek lovers
Two Greek lovers walking hand in hand,
Not caring for Victorian purity,
Defying the laws of their Christian land,
Living a life of beauty and luxury.
They do not see people's glares,
A suspicious officer believing common lies,
Do not seem to mind when he stares,
'cause they notice nothing but each other's eyes.
Young lovers, I wish you all the luck of life,
Because we know what they deny,
is sweeter, purer, softer than man and wife,
So fight and stay together until you die.
And even then, die...
