Primate`s Wake
collect me
retrieve
distant components strewn
pack my salvage
tightly
erect me uprightly
prop and propel
my rebuilt self
through un-traveled corridors
leading to
Spiritual Health
before weak Conscious
regains
pulled toward
propogandic shine
of material wealth
though I rant
about strength
resisting the ache
a Rock I aint`
susceptable
to every
Oil of Snake
peddled by characters
who do
willingly forsake
nature`s ambient comfort
when Community
is shaked-
shed as if
reptilian skin
at a primate`s wake
sacrifice uncertain promise
of Infinite Cosmos
for brief quantities
of Now
something
I actively
tried NOT
to allow
leaving me slaughtered
Socially
drawn and quartered
scattered randomly
through systems
that damned me
each kept a
sacred piece
thus my
existential appeal:
collect me
re-construct me
inspect me
then
set me free
