HE GAVE ME YOU
It's amazing to me how God answers,
it wasn't long ago that I asked him for guidance, what he gave me was you,
a beautiful woman, a presence.
I was lost with worry and fear of the unknown,
lacking support, void of existence,
what he gave me was you, a woman capable of quieting my fears in an instance.
I was alone, no one standing in my corner; rejected,
again you were there by my side,
a woman strong and directed.
I owe so much to you, for the things you have taught me,
reminding me that its ok to stand up and fight, you have freed a part of my heart, broke the ice, made me realize, I had been missing motherly advice.
I am a firm believer that God listens and answers,
he made this clear to me the day, he introduced me to you!

Beautiful dedication which could be read as to a loved one or a valued mentoring friend, and thanks for God. A verse in Isaiah reads "God sets the lonely in families." This is one way it has worked.
(PS I initially thought it was a man referring to a woman he met but I have just read the poet is female. Apologies to those I may have led astray who read the original comment.)

It's actually to my boyfriend's mother she is amazing!! I am recently divorced but wasseperated for 2 years prior and I lost my mom at 17 so she was just a complete gift from God to me!!

Some good emotion and sentimental tone. Very clean and fluid. Lots of punctuation abuse, misuse and lack there of... gives the whole composition a juvenile image. Keep grindin

Thanks for the comments. Some of the punctuational errors are from the transfer of my pieces from one program to the next. Some are my mistakes, and the rest are just me! Lol
