Point Me In The Right Direction

I am your child, you made me who I am, derived from your own DNA, you forced me against your beliefs, then left me alone and cast away.

You told me all the things I always did wrong, never showed me that you loved me, tried to help, or made me feel like I fit in and belong.

I have made mistakes, disappointed, and disgraced, I can own my faults, but I am yours I will never be replaced.

All of my life you told me I was worthless, heading down the wrong path, making poor choices.
When all I needed from you was love and direction,
Instead you broke me, told me I was nothing a void, a mind empty seeking only rejection.
 
My heart is stronger then it has ever been, I can forgive myself for each and every sin.

I have learned from my mistakes, this is my time, I have chosen to up the stakes.

But I am young and just getting started, I will need you in my corner, to lead me, make me whole, a man, not a lost soul left only separately, departed.

My only question left for you, can you find it in your heart to except me void the self rejection, please somebody,
