Never, never, ever, ever…
That’s how much I hear the truth!
I want to scream when men all lie,
But I won’t give them the pleasure!
Never, never!
Come on, come on, don’t you cry!
My sisters all tell me to be strong…
So I hold my tears back in my eyes,
And I sing even when it’s wrong!
I paint my lips crimson red…
And jump up and down on my bed!
I want to live in the moment forever.
Never, never, ever, ever…
Have I met a man who is smooth!
Too many boys, don’t ask me why,
Not a single one is a real treasure!
Ever, ever!
Come on, come on, don’t you dare!
Don’t tell me love does not exist…
I want to be somebody’s maiden fair,
And I’ll sing on after we’ve kissed!
I’ll press my lips against your skin…
And I want to feel your heat within!
I want this moment to last forever.

Do I want to cry myself to sleep!
I want to sing and I want to dance,
Even when the tears are rolling down!

If you turn away I’ll be gone, gone…
Too much time we waste if we think,

I want my voice to pierce the air…
And I’ll keep singing; I don’t care!

What ever happened to romance?
You can’t find it in this crazy town!

Thanks, Flame! I always love to write songs that express my moods, and when I wrote this I was feeling a bit down and gloomy... but once I put it into writing and sang it aloud, it made me feel a LOT better. So I thought: why not share it with everyone on DUP? So here it is. Wicked happy you liked it, too!!! :D
