Distracted by Attraction

Yesterday I thought of you,
Not doing what I ought to do,
My mind's not where it's meant to be,
I think about you endlessly.
I should be cramming for a test,
And making sure I do my best,
But who can concentrate on books,
When you give me such sexy looks?
I dream of you by night and day,
Your beauty blows me right away,
Why must you look so goddam good
That I can't do the things I should?
If I can't stop these thoughts of you,
I don't know what I'm gonna do,
My life was turning out okay,
Now I'm a flop in every way.
I'm in no state for thinking straight,
How will I ever graduate?
If my career goes down the drain,
It's clear it's you who'll be to blame.
I could have been a doctor or,
Excelled in every kind of law,
But now I doubt I will succeed,
You've made a fool of me indeed.
