"Ex-Nihilo"

I am Ex-Nihilo        
you created me out of nothing        
the stars, the moon and the air        
you re-created me into something.        
You made me The sum of all my parts        
you made me smile        
made me feel        
made me love        
you pressed start and the turned the dial.        
   
I don't ever want to blink        
because i don't want        
to miss your definitive gaze      
as i stand near you      
the air catches fire      
i am lost in your      
fiery blaze.        
   
I stand before you        
brand new and un-abused        
molded into something exciting        
and new.  
shaped in your expert hands  
i am yours  
i am Ex-Nihilo.       
   
As Greek gods would create        
there champions from clay        
you did the same that fateful day        
the day when we first met.        
And now at the end i realize        
in all my limited understanding        
The cosmos is yours to command        
i am nothing more but a meteorite hurtling        
through time and space,        
you are the universe        
infinite in your majestic glory.        
you create when needed and destroy        
when you must.        
   
You are the creator    
but also the destructor to.    
life begins and ends because of you.    
Remember my dear       
you created me  
from nothing    
and so i must remain  
just that ...nothing.
