Walk with Me
Rose petals lie on the ground beneath me
For all of heaven and hell to see
Symbols of love lost and misery found
Just lying there lifeless upon the ground
Lost is the soul that once held them sacred
Gone is the life which together we led
Voices of pain leave me in dimensions unknown
Never to know the other dreams have grown
I once held you, then lost you, all on one knee
And I am still bound though you no longer walk with me
