regret
Listen to the sound
Of their blood dripping down
With a quickened pace
Blackness fills our hearts
Like crimson red tears
Hearts bleed unspoken fears
Leaving only the scars
Of what once was there
Nightmares spill onto paper
Black ink writes their anger
Screams words i can't speak
Because you will never listen
Take hold of your dying heart
Before the pain rips it apart
When years turn to hate
Making our love darken and fade
Cuts till you bleed
Your love only grieves
The regret and pain
Of memories so undone
Guilt drowns my thoughts
Blood begins to rot
All feelings go numb
Except the hole you leave
What I've been trying to say
Is my heart died for you that day
Leaving only a dark shadow
Of the regret of you
Of their blood dripping down
With a quickened pace
Blackness fills our hearts
Like crimson red tears
Hearts bleed unspoken fears
Leaving only the scars
Of what once was there
Nightmares spill onto paper
Black ink writes their anger
Screams words i can't speak
Because you will never listen
Take hold of your dying heart
Before the pain rips it apart
When years turn to hate
Making our love darken and fade
Cuts till you bleed
Your love only grieves
The regret and pain
Of memories so undone
Guilt drowns my thoughts
Blood begins to rot
All feelings go numb
Except the hole you leave
What I've been trying to say
Is my heart died for you that day
Leaving only a dark shadow
Of the regret of you
