Unheard Cries
The end is near
I breathe out, only to find I can’t breathe in
I’m trapped
Drowning under the deep black water
Silent screams that go unheard
Hidden tears, my smile lies
Cries for help that no one hears
Hidden cuts that hide my fear
A fear of what?
A fear of this.
I cried for help
Yet here I lay
One last breath, take it in.
One last breath as the world goes black.
