Mirror Mirror

 
Happy is the person who can look themselves in the eye,
equally accepting faults and virtues without attempting to deny,
yet somehow we've got in in our minds that to be less than perfect is perverse
even as we're taught that pride is tantamount to a curse.
Eccentric is the person who can thrive within their truth,
horribly, though, it's a skill almost never found in youth.
