Portrait of a Weekend
Green pigeons, fireflies
the smell of rain, wet earth
a golden sunset which
spills into the valley,
unveiled a pallette of greens,
plumes of smoke, a peacock
rainbows, the oceans distant song,
a new home, the smell of paint
candle light, an old black and white
a warm kitchen, and cake
good smoke, old friends
a cozy bed, a happy heart
Beautiful.
