Dancing with no heart; feelin’ just fine.
Dancing with no heart;
feelin’ just fine.
Carolling outside hopes door,
praying for her blessings.
Away in a manger,
no crib for His bed.
We're starving for compassion,
in our hands lay our heads.
The heavens answer with a
figure eight imprinted on the clouds.
(You shall not steal)
Blind faith stole my sanity away
People chatter and busy on past me.
Leathery finger tips rough from hard work,
leaving dreams behind in their footsteps.
I step innocently into various shops.
Hello, do you sell futures here?
I need to get a new one, preferably in blank white.
Do I deserve it? Maybe not.
The devil gives me one life for another.
I taste the ashes in the air of
wavering hands, reaching for some self belief.
They never clasped it, can you imagine?
Now they have no self to believe in.
A problem shared is a problem doubled.
My misery is cancerous... contagious.
Stay away, get a vaccination of euphoria.
The new epidemic has begun.
