She has a common name
Wears her name like nobody else
If there were such thing as " normal"
She would definitely not fit in
Average height looks more like it
Making me smile has become her job
Her love is unlike any others
Her smile is bright as the sun
In her eyes I can see beyond stars
Style she has
Best friends we'll always be
I make her happy
Life would be dull without her
Black as the night sky her hair is
Loving me is her specialty
Makeup she don't need
Beautiful she'll always be
Inside and out I think she's perfect
I've seen her ugly side
She's seen my ugly Side
We're able to put up with each other
We may not hangout a lot
But we are always there for each other
One of a kind she is
There is none like her
Serious conversations we're able to have
Judgement doesn't exist in our relationship
Laughing so hard till we cry happens often
Her shoulder I have to cry on
My shoulder she has to cry on
My bear hugs she loves
Her heart is pure and innocent
Being weird suites us very well
Crazy about each other we are
Playing with her hair she loves
Holding hands in public we're not afraid to do
We don't care what society brings
Ourselves we'll always be
"In love" can't describe us
We are beyond love
Our friends are not ashamed of us
Embarrassed we don't feel
It's me and her against the world
This battle we are winning
Texts full of love we send each other
God loves us no mo matter what
Our families are left in the dark
Coming from conservative families is hard
Religion we won't let get in our way
If I had to choose between her and family
I'd choose her
Happy together we are
Fights rarely happen
Society sees us differently
We see each other as our normal selves
Drama we put up with it every day
Judgement we don't take
Our life is ours
No one can ever separate us
Through my poetry I express my love for her
This poem is for my wife
