In my bed

I have just discovered the Iranian poem form the 'Ghazal'
This is my first attempt at writing one. I would welcome comment as to how well I have done.

I would wish you to be in my bed
Cuddled happy and warm in my bed

But alas you have moved away
And have stayed afar from my bed

But what has become of our closeness
And our promises made in my bed

Do you have your plans for the future
And do they include me and my bed

I think I will miss you  for ever
If you never return to my bed

But it was better to have had you
Than you were never into my bed
