Admist October Frost
From where I sit, I view the trees
Trembling brash against the breaze
Swaying shyly to and fro
Sighing lightly as lovers go
Grounded slightly I sit and think
Watching ravens alone and meak
I ponder that which I don't know
Of all my muses, I sit below
The branches of my mothers will
Warming scars that ache and chill
Her love embraced me as my quill
And roots her with me softly still
To calm me with a lullaby
With tenderness to shield my crys
Of a dreary fawn so lost, alone
Trapped inside the frost of snow
Despite the heat of Octobers winds
She soothes my mind, the truth begins
And guides me back into the trees
So calm I drift admist the breaze
Trembling brash against the breaze
Swaying shyly to and fro
Sighing lightly as lovers go
Grounded slightly I sit and think
Watching ravens alone and meak
I ponder that which I don't know
Of all my muses, I sit below
The branches of my mothers will
Warming scars that ache and chill
Her love embraced me as my quill
And roots her with me softly still
To calm me with a lullaby
With tenderness to shield my crys
Of a dreary fawn so lost, alone
Trapped inside the frost of snow
Despite the heat of Octobers winds
She soothes my mind, the truth begins
And guides me back into the trees
So calm I drift admist the breaze
