Nightmare of life

Forever in shame
Forever in the shadows of sorrow
Everything taken away
Everything ripped apart

Dreams to nightmares
Not one moment of peace
Despair engulfing my hallowed soul
Running from the past
To only worsen the future

Looking forward to nothing
Nightmares now reality
Fire surrounding bloody corpses
Ice to only save what wasn't gone
Fossilized to never return

A wish for repair
To my mind of insanity
Seeing blood and bones on fire
Every corner a new nightmare appears

A corpse to rot
Left behind in shadows
Forever gone
To the fires of torture

They say being dead was far worse
But I'm living this nightmare
To only wish
For my upcoming death

Dropping to my knees
Looking around at the fires of despair and torture
Looking at myself to only realize
I was another bloody corpse in flames
A nightmare to no end
