What can I do?
What do I say?
How can I make you
see it my way?
I don’t understand.
Maybe its not meant to be,
but who are you
to lie to me.
Why all the trouble?
What’s all this for?
I need to know, love
what you have in store.
Maybe I’m wrong,
and you’re telling the truth.
Maybe I just can’t see
beyond my wall of ruth.
